The Ryobi CRH18012L 18-volt SDS-plus rotary hammer drill is a beast of a machine and will make light work from the toughest of job applications, saving you time and money. This machine is equipped with dual mode, ideal for drilling into multiple materials, with or without hammer action. The hammer drill is light and compact, making it ideal for working in small areas or overhead work. There is a heavy duty SDS chuck for fast drilling and easy bit change--SDS chucks are built into the machine gearbox so you will get the upmost power every time.
This Ryobi CRH18012L packs a mean punch with its powerful 1.5 joules impact energy, which is ideal for masonry, concrete or chiselling tiles from wall and floors, making light work of those time-consuming tasks. Ryobi have used the most up-to-date gripzone overmould technology on the body and trigger for improved comfort, with a positive grip in prolonged use. It has a good drilling capacity of concrete: 12 mm, steel: 13 mm and wood: 16mm.
This rotary hammer drill is part of the Ryobi One Plus system, which is a flexible way to manage your cordless tools. Just one battery and charger can be used with up to 29 cordless power tools and 7 different garden power tools. You can buy a starter kit of a tool, battery and charger, or purchase them separately. Then, once you have the battery and charger, you'll save money in the future as you won't need to buy separate batteries for all your other One Plus tools.

I have had mine for 6 months now, its fast, powerful and not heavy. I have had a few battery SDS drills and this is definately one of the best.
UPDATE JAN 2012 - I am amazed at the abuse this drill has taken and it is still going strong. It eats through any job asked of it with gusto.

Ordered this product on a Monday night and it arrived Wednesday morning. Product comes with 2 batteries,charger and holdall. Was the cheapest I have found by far after trawling the internet for days and will come in dead handy for my job as an electrician.
I have now had this product for about 6 months after the review above and the drill has been fantastic. I would, however,recommend that for heavier work you should try and purchase the 2.4ah battery as this would give it a longer working time between charges. All in all though a good product and since the purchase I have bought other Ryobi products that are equally as impressive.
