I bought this book initially, to read to my little boy (almost 6) but found that he started taking over and reading part of the text. Wonderful to find a book that he was so excited about that he wanted to read himself! He loves the way the injured cub is nursed back to health again, and not only does it teach children to be good to animals, but also how they can make a difference in the world!
After reading this one, we decided to get the whole set; Animal Rescue Collection, 6 Books, RRP £29.94 (Merlin the Homeless Foal, Bella the Runaway Rabbit, Dilly the Lost Duckling, Charlie the Home alone Kitten, Rusty the Injured Fix Cub, Honey The Unwanted Puppy)) as it works out much cheaper than buying the books individually. I only wish I'd thought of that before buying the first book...
