Russell goes to investigate, comes to Santas rescue and saves Christmas. He is rewarded with a special bauble which re-ignites the lanterns on his christmas tree. It's delightful! A'Night Before Christmas' with a modern twist. Already a firm favourite with my 6 year old, it will be one to keep and treasure as part of our family Christmas tradition!

Rob Scotton (and Russell!) strike gold with this third book in this delightful series. The attention to detail in the vivid, atmospheric illustrations and the kaleidoscope of colour, is nothing but a masterclass in young children's literature. I particularly enjoyed Mr.Scotton's excellent use of language: carefully constructed, skilfully employed. A simply gourgeous and lovingly presented book. Do yourself a favour and buy it!
