Bought this items on style reasons. Looked good and modern and a big 3kw element. BOY O BOY WHEN YOU TURN IT ON YOU HAVE TO SHOUT AT YOUR PARTNER TO MAKE YOURSELF HEARD - EVEN THE TV HAS TO INCREASE VOLUMe BY 100% SO YOU CAN HEAR IT. Very very dissapointed. Had it now for 6 months so I have given it a fair go, but I'm afraid it has ended up at the bottom of the garden now where I threw it...!!

Excelent value for money. Had one of these for many years but it was old and tired. Managed to find the same one on amazon. Boils very quick would highly reccommend

I bought the Russell Hobbs stainless steel 1.6ltr dome kettle. I had wanted a dome kettle for a long time. The kettle arrived promptly and I am very pleased with it. It looks good, is lightweight and boils quickly and reasonably quietly. The only downside is that the outside gets very hot which is why I have given it a 4 star.

Very disappointed with this new kettle, it makes so much noise when it is boiling you cannot hear anyone speaking or the radio, not a easy fit on the base.

does the job
Have had the kettle for 3 weeks now. Looks stylish, boils water, what else do you need from the kettle? I don't think, it's too loud. It's completely ok for me.
