This is great. It made me howl with laughter, there are some really great moments. A must-have Russell Peters DVD if you're going to have any of his DVDs.

The problem with this DVD is that it is advertised as two concerts - This is true, the first one is terrible, not a single giggle will form on your lips and it is clearly Russell starting out, bitter let down.
The second will have you gasping for breath and aching from laughing non stop for the whole set. Russell obviously learning a few tricks to smooth everything down and get those comedy skills on top form. Worthwhile if only for the second gig which is true genius.

RP is hilarious- incredibly funny man who entertains through his knowledge of cross-cultural differences and accents.
Although you could download this on the internet, I thought I'd "Be a Man" as this material is timeless. He's just as funny in person when I went to see him in Birmingham and can't wait to see him again.

Haven't actually watched this item as it was a gift for my parents as they'd caught a few of his shows in Canada & thoroughly enjoyed him as a comedian & performer... So though I can't speak for it myself, it has been an awesome treat & a great laugh out loud belly laugh for my parents...

Having seen this performer on a couple of You Tube videos, I was determined to find out more. He is very funny, connects with his audience in a way I have not seen at live comedy shows and DVD's of comedy shows. A consummate performer, who loves to involve all races, creeds and personalities. If anyone finds him racist, or insulting - open your eyes to the bigger picture. He is an entertainer, who does just that - entertains and very well indeed.

This guy is a great comedian, although when I watched the dvd I really did not think the first half was very good but the second half is brilliant.

The first half of this dvd is absolutely excellent and had me in stitches. The second half was almost as if it was a different comedian, so bad in fact that I didn't bother watching it all the way through.
It gets a 4 star rating because the price was so good!

Good but...
Russell peters is a great comedian but this is a show I found quite a hit and miss exercise. There were lots of laugh out loud jokes but most of them i found quite boring. Read more
