Format:DVD
Firstly I am a Russell Howard fan, I thought both `Live' and `Dingledodies' were right up there with best DVD's of their respective years (I'm a Stand-Up geek and tend to watch I'd say at least 80% of each year's offerings.), but this one didn't live up to them. It was 90mins of light entertainment, but none of the laugh out loud moments Howard can normally produce, it really feels like this is a collection of jokes and stories that weren't good enough to make it into the tours of the first 2 DVD's; or with the inclusion of some funny photos on the big screen, and very little audience interaction, a extended episode of `Good News'.
I wouldn't tell fans of Russell Howard to avoid it, but if you know his previous stand-up and not of him just as that guy off mock the week, then don't be expecting the usual A-list material he can produce.

bought for my teenage daughter who is in love with russell howard. very funny. a lot of swearing. but have watched it over and over

This was bought for my older sons (20 & 23). They thought it was very funny, although not quite as good as his earlier stuff. Great price, good communication from seller and quick delivery.

What can i say, if you like his "Good News" program then i can guarantee you will love his stand-up. It takes some elements of "Good News", which are cleverly placed throughout. Read more
