This was a perfect present for those who are chocaholics. It's extremely simple to use, easy to clean and is of solid construction. Granted you do need alot of people present to make it worth taking out as you need around 800g of chocolate. Very good value for money.

Brilliant product, does exactly what you want. Suggests in the instructons using oil with the chocolate but if you buy chocolate that is specific it takes minutes to have this up and running with no need for added oil. Run for as long as required without going lumpy, it didnt take long to clean and was fairly easy to do.If you want a fountain for occasioal party fun then this is the one for you.

After looking for how to prepare the chocolate for a fountain we found The Essex Chocolate Fountain Company sold just the right type which I realised afterwards I could have bought via Amazon at the same time. I would highly recommend there product which is prepacked in the perfect 900g size carton.
Following the instructions everything worked perfectly and our grandchildren aged 5 and 3 were able to have a very enjoyable time. Nothing gets too hot and I was surprised we did not have chocolate all over the house and kitchen!
A previous reviewer had criticised a problem with cleaning after use. Clean straight after use! We used a good flexible spatula and recovered as much chocolate as possible from the components and then hand washed off the last remains. Better than using the dishwasher which can take the gloss off the plastic parts. It was no more trouble cleaning than I would have suspected for this type of equipment! The recovered chocolate made excellent eating chocolate after storing in the fridge!
My only suggestion to the manufacturer would be to use stainless steel parts which could then be cleaned in the dishwasher but this would make it a much more expensive piece of kit.

Broke in 30 minutes
Bought this for a party...had it running less than a half hour and it stopped. The insides had smashed apart...rubbish.

Great buy.

Chocolate Fountain
Kids love it! Don't forget to empty it out before the chocolate cools and hardens...it's a lot easier to clean that way! Nice solid design. Recommended.
