This mixer works fine; I only use it for basic mixing for cakes, cream etc. and it certainly works for that sort of thing.
Two minus points; It has six speeds but they go from pretty fast to very very fast, so DON'T get this if you want slow speeds.
The beaters are meant to click in to the main bit but although they slot in and kind of lodge there, they don't actually click (lock) into place. They stay in while mixing though so I don't mind (so far).

This beater was cheap and mixes well, however there are some problems it does not have a slow speed and the beaters do not click in easily. But my main concern is that the same button is used for both turning on the mixer and ejecting the beaters this can be dangerous unless you unplug first as the beaters may start unexpectedly and it is possible to get your fingers caught.

I am pleased with this mixer,small, lightweight and speedy too ! My last one was too heavy to hold by hand for a long time, this one would be good for elderly people with joint problems.

Russell Hobbs Hand Mixer
This product is great value for money. Easy to use and I would certainly recommend it. There is a choice of speeds but I would have liked the option of a slower one occasionally.
