Well priced electric knife which cuts well. I am not physically impaired in any way, but like some other reviewers, I too find it slightly awkward to hold the knife and operate the ON/OFF button and carve at the same time, maybe it is just a matter of getting more practice.

I do have fairly large hands but even I struggle to fully encircle the knife body with my fingers, I think a ridge moulded on the topside of the handle, to fit between forefinger and thumb would help greatly with the required purchase to operate the knife more easily.

In all other respects the knife is light enough to be easy to handle and the blades are simple to remove for cleaning.

I bought this electric knife to cut bread which I make in a bread maker. It is excellent, no more doorstep sandwiches, I can cut fresh bread thinly and easily, perfect for sandwiches. A good buy, not too expensive.

Excellent Carving knife works well & takes up very little room in the cutlery drawer, also it was very inexpensive.

Electric carving knife
This product is modern in design, and considerably quieter than our old knife. Its design makes it easy to handle and its very tactile.

Sadly I bought this from a supplier who charged postage which jacked the price up of a anotherwise 'cheap' knife. Read more

Get used to it
Initialy I found use difficult due to what I thought was undue vibration but after continuing to use it found it easy to use and now would not be without it

electric knife
a very useful item for my father who is 85 and has trouble gripping. The handle is ideal for him to get a reasonably firm grip too.

Russell Hobbs Carving Knife
I sliced two loaves of bread and the knife was fine. On the third loaf I noticed the knife was cutting the bread with difficulty and it would not even slice the fourth loaf. Read more
