Really pleased with this purchase which replaced an old Philips plastic kettle. Looks shiny and smart and not difficult to keep clean on the outside, if you wipe it down while still warm. Water boils up nice and quickly and the swivel action base is a welcome feature. The lid opens fully in two movements - press the button on the handle and then gently pull the lid back - and the filter is easy to remove, rinse and replace. Slightly heavier and noisier than my previous kettle, but nothing to complain about - and I love the blue light which lets you know that it's coming to the boil! I also like the safety feature that switches the kettle off when you lift it from the base, so less chance of boiling dry by mistake. To date, one very happy customer.

By far the best kettle ever purchased! (bought 4 months ago) Stylish stainless steel kettle, quick to boil with helpful blue light when on, not too noisy, sturdy, practical to use. One point to note: outer surface of the kettle remains very hot once boiled. Overall excellent value for money.

This kettle is just absolutly fab, bought as a Christmas present for my partner i searched some time before finding this bit of gold (although in Shiny Silver ;) )
I searched high & low for a nice looking, simple, no fancy stuff but great working kettle...i could not believe it even when doing my homework on the Which? website they had their Best Buy's but had such poor reviews from us customers using them everyday!?! Left me thinking how can they be a Best Buy then?? Things such as leaking, a lot of noise, not switching off after boil so continues boiling! And some of those kettles might of been nice looking & fancy but they wernt cheap either!
I came to looking on Amazon & spotted this one (looks first) and then went on to see that it had full stars from all the reviews. The blue illumination was a bonus (I love that little feature)
Now having enjoyed for a few months lots of people have remarked what a nice looking kettle it is (now my mum whishes she had got it instead of the one she bought) although shiny Silver i havnt had to clean it much!
And a fairly important point for me, which every other kettle seems to have a problem with, was the noise which there is not much of at all..has never bothered me one bit, boils away & is very quick then switches off.
Very easy to fill with water, push the button on top of the handle & lid opens, pours lovely, no spills, nice small filter so nothing too much to have to take out to rinse etc and good price on Amazon to replace!
Very very happy partner & me, although i probably wouldn't normally of payed this much for a kettle i certainly did not mind paying this price for what you get!
If you really are having a hard time to decide please buy this one -you wont be dissapionted!
