All round family size toaster, looks stylish, easy to keep clean, perfect toast time after time, really pleased with this purchase, no hesitation in reccommending this toaster to future purchasers.

The title says it all. No matter what number the dial is on it seems to come out dark
toast on one side of the bread and pale on the other. My kids are quite fussy about
their morning toast and I am using more bread to try and get a suitable colour of toast.
I think they will have to be less fussy or convert to sugar puffs.

Having read the various reviews on toasters, when buying this product we were trying to avoid any quality issues with non-working filaments etc. It turns out this toaster does not have a working filament which means that it only toasts on one side. I wish I hadn't bought it as now I have the hassle of returning it and trying to get a refund or replacement. Advice: avoid!!
4th Sept 2011 update: Having gone through the hassle of returning our original item, we now find that the replacement has developed the same issue again. We are now enjoying (not!) the experience of toast only done on one side...yet again. I am now going to contact Amazon to take this item back and replace it with a totally different model.
MY ADVICE - DON'T BUY THIS ONE!!!!
