The 18144 Russell Hobbs Slow Cooker comes in a black finish and has a family sized 3.5 L capacity. There are three cooking settings: high, low and a very handy keep warm function. It comes with a removable ceramic cooking pot which is dishwasher safe for easy cleaning after use and there are a selection of tasty recipes included for inspiration. The oval shape also makes the slow cooker perfect for joints of meat.

This was purchased for a friend, who has to attend dialysis on 3 days a week, and does not always feel like cooking when she gets home. It is the best thing I have ever bought her and she is working her way through the recipes. It fits on her worktop very well and will be a boon during the winter months.

Not only does this look beautiful in my kitchen, which means I leave it out and so use it more - virtually every day in fact, but it cooks everything perfectly. I have tried much more with this one then I ever did with my old one, as I can trust it either not to boil dry, or not cook it properly. Couldn't have chosen a better model.
