Replaced my old Russell Hobbs toaster which had lasted 10 years. It toasts well - only thing is the slots seem to be shorter as pitta bread does not fit in fully as it did with the old one. Will take a thicker slice of bread though and I like the fact you can vary the degree (his and hers) toasting separately. Best price on Amazon too.

Good looking machine, toasts nice and evenly. A bit slow and it's lighter than I would have expected but an attractive piece of kit which graces our worktop well.

Russel Hobbs 18099
We have had 2 of these toasters and both have been faulty. The first one was replaced because it kept tripping our mains switch, and the replacement kept doing the same thing!!

Hopeless - the toaster came without instruction book - we presumed we had to deduce how to use it from pictures on the box. It does not toast even when turned up to maximum. Read more
