The rear water gauge is the ideal solution for seeing the fill level of the water. Displayed in cup sizes, you only need to fill the kettle to the number of cups you need - great for saving energy as you boil only the amount of water you actually require.The removable washable anti-scale water filter will prevent scale particles from reaching your drink and the handy power on indicator illuminates when boiling.

We ordered the red kettle first but the colour came away when we used a proprietry descaler. We returned it and bought the stainless steel kettle. This one is obviously OK ,so my message is do not buy the coloured versions if you are in a hard water area.

I am so pleased with my new kettle. It is a very unique shape and looks good in my cottage kitchen. The filter is an added bonus.

we live in a hard water area and have only had the kettle a couple of weeks but already chalk is forming around a fold just below the lid which is not easy to clean and it doesnt look nice. Also the water level gauge doesnt seem very good probably me not holding level or something when fill from spout but you have nearly half filled before gauge seems to show which isnt great use of electric if just boiling for couple of cups
