I have had many irons but so far this is the best one, smooth and easy to control.The heat settings are perfect and the weight of the iron is ideal. The only problem I have is the spillage you get when you have water in for the steam, if too much then it comes out of the top when you iron, other than that it's brilliant. Ps I'm a bloke

Good iron, spare parts impossible to get,

Whilst the iron performs well, after 1 year the water inlet cover broke so water leaks whilst you are ironing. Russell Hobbs wont replace it (even if I pay)because they say "it should not break in Normal use" and so they do not keep the inlet cover as a spare part. It was normal use when it broke - what else do you use an iron for apart from ironing clothes!!! Hard to believe that they cant replace a part for an iron 1 year old and still on sale and an expensive iron at that. For this reason i would not recommend it.

water level,

whilst this is a technically proficient iron i must comment on the fact that it is impossible , not just difficult , impossible to read the water level because of the totally opaque tank. when i questioned russel hobbs customer service on this the response was'nobody else has complained' perhaps my eyesight is going? anyway i am getting a different iron as this is dangerous in my opinion
