At the heart of the Nevada Kettle is a 3 kW rapid boil concealed element for easy cleaning, plus the kettle also has a low-powered element for use with the keep warm function.
The keep warm function can be selected by sliding the switch on top of the handle towards the kettle; when in operation, a light will illuminate. This function will be particularly useful to cooks or anyone who needs a constant supply of hot water.
The two-stage illumination feature further adds to the visual appeal of the kettle, as well as giving an at-a-glance view of which function is currently operating. When the window light glows blue, this means that the kettle is powered but the boil switch is off. When the window glows red, this indicates the boil switch is on and the water is heating to boil.
The new Russell Hobbs Nevada Kettle boasts a 1.7 L capacity and has a cordless base with cord storage. The textured handle allows for a more comfortable grip, plus the kettle also features dual water level windows and an illuminated on/off switch.
