With a fashionable gloss white body, the Russell Hobbs Ethos Toaster was designed to match the contemporary kitchen and to deliver the perfect slice of toast, but in a more compact design. With a sleek glossy white finish and polished stainless steel end panels, the Ethos Toaster has been designed to co-ordinate with any modern kitchen design and existing kitchen appliances, while taking up minimal space on the worktop.
With extra wide toasting slots, the Ethos Toaster is ideal for toasting both thin and thick sliced bread or even home-baked bread, plus for your convenience it has an extra lift facility, making it easier to remove smaller items such as crumpets and bagels. The frozen bread setting will also allow bread to be toasted straight from the freezer and the re-heat function will quickly give a short burst of heat to unbuttered toast. The variable browning control can be altered to suit your own personal preference and, should you wish to cancel the toasting process at any time, simply press the eject button and the toast will pop up and elements will switch off.

THE LONG AWAITED FOR TOASTER HAS ARRIVED. I SAY LONG AWAITED, ONLY BECAUSE IT TOOK ME SO LONG TO PICK ONE. WELL, ITS HERE. IT DOES WHAT IT IS SUPPOSE TO. ITS SMALL ENOUGH TO FIT NICELY INTO ANY KITCHEN WITHOUT TAKING OVER, WHICH IS WHAT MY LAST ONE DID. IT BROWNS VERY WELL AND EVENLY. YOU ONLY NEED TO HAVE IT ON THE LOWER NUMBERS AS OTHERWISE IT IS TOASTED TOO MUCH. I LIKE MY TOAST WELL DONE NOT RAW AND EVEN I DONT GO BEYOND 2 1/2 TO 3 ON THE DIAL. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THIS PURCHASE. ITS SMALL AND EFFICIENT. THE ONLY DRAWBACK IS THAT YOU CAN ONLY REALLY FIT IN SMALL PIECES OF BREAD. THICK BREAD, NO PROBLEM, AS LONG AS ITS SMALL.

When chosing a kitchen appliance you can vary rarely go wrong with the likes of Russell Hobbs. My old toaster packed up on me, inside the guarantee period. But I was so dissapointed I chose to bin it and buy this - no regrets. It's a little beauty. Toasts everything I pop in it to perfection, looks good and great value for money.
The delivery of this toaster could not have been better. Unfortunately it was faulty so I had to return it for a refund which was carried out efficiently.
The toaster temperature settings were erratic and unreliable so I would not recommend it although it did look good. I have since bought a cheap toaster from Tesco for about £5 and it seems to be working OK so far.

Sturdy little toaster
This toaster was great value for the quality. It has nice wide slots for toasting thick bread and toasts everything evenly and well. Plus it takes up minimal space on the counter. Read more
