We bought this to replace our previous brushed steel Montana which we've had for four years without a hitch. This kettle looks beautiful as you take it out of the box and it just gets better. After following the set up instructions, it boils quickly and without much noise. makes a great cuppa with no aftertaste or taint.

With its stainless steel body it looks fabulous on the worktop and is great value for money.

This is a good kettle and the only thing i dont like is its too heavy for me to use comfortably ..........It would be good if there was a weight indication in the specification

We bought a RH Montana kettle a couple of years ago and when, for no explicable reason, the base stopped supplying electricity to the kettle, we bought another one because we liked the look of it and figured it was just bad luck.
The lid has always been very difficult to take off and, just before Christmas 2009, the handle on top of the lid came off in my hand. It was broken beyond repair but, thankfully, I still had the old kettle (it's not that long since we replaced it after all) so we used the lid from that. Today that lid has just broken too! The second kettle has also been so noisy that my mother (who's actually quite deaf) complained about the noise when she was visiting at Christmas!
Safe to say I won't be buying another one of these kettles.
