We purchased this kettle and toaster combo as we felt Russell Hobbs was a name you could trust. The design seemed modern and did exactly what we wanted. However, after a couple of months the toaster started to not release the toast and we ended up burning toast every time we used it. The light system is also hard to read. Then the kettle, scaled up very quickly and burns your hand when pouring. It has also started to leak. All in all it has been the worst purchase we have ever made and now we're on the lookout again for alternative.

Thought I cant go wrong with a RHobbs. The toaster is ok - the kettle gets a 1/10. Spills more boiling water when you pour, that what you get in cup - not great. It was a cheap combination - I paid £30 on a special, but honestly, I wish I hadnt
RATHER choose something else

Like the previous reviewer, my kettle started leaking too and scaled up far too quickly. The filer doesn't even seem to work as I end up with limescale in my cup.

I bought the same set for my friend shortly after purchasing this set for myself and her toaster went bust after 1 month.

Buy at your peril
