My best friend has bought this kettle TWICE, once in Satin finish and once in polished finish.

Both times the kettle RUSTED inside. She was only boiling normal water like any normal person would do with a kettle.

This kettle is supposed to be made of Stainless Steel but we think this isn't true - Since when does Stainless Steel rust??

This was a great dissapointment. Worked perfectly for a month or two, then gradually became unreliable, switching off a few seconds before boiling. Nearly boiled water makes a substance that is almost, but not quite, entirely unlike tea.

We've had the kettle for a fortnight. It is *very* loud when switched on, whether boiling a cupful or a kettleful. We're not sure why, given the element is concealed - the main reason we bought it.

While the design is attractive and the handle very easy to grip, you have to tip the kettle up considerably to get the water out. If you're just boiling a cupful then you need to tip the kettle to about 120 degrees ie. well beyond 90 degrees.

The spout is too small - you do have to take the lid off each time in order to pour water in, rather than just pour it in via the spout.

In general, a disappointing purchase.
