Nice size, holds a loaf plus a few rolls and some toasting waffles (will actually hold two loaves if you don't mind the door being open an inch). The drop front means the top is solid so you can put things on top of it. It's solid enought but not too heavy.
It's a lot lighter in colour than it is in the photo but that's what I wanted. Would probably look good in a traditional kitchen as well as a more contemporary one.

Ordered this on Friday and it was delivered by Monday. So far, super. Opened the box inside the Amazon box and no word of lie actually thought I had made a mistake and it was a self assembly bread bin!! The only piece attached was the back and one side section. The bottom, drop front, right side and top all lay in the box. The inner box, which had the bread bin, was quite damp all over with a lines of wet inside the box, BUT NOT I noticed on the outer Amazon box it came in. Naturally I am returning this. Nice colour though.
The star score system is misleading. I dont hate this product. It is after a plain and simple bread bin. Just one that more resembles kindling at the moment. I still want a bread bin so will request a replacement.
