I have 3 cats and mainly use the adhesive lint removers on clothing etc to remove fur. I thought I would try one of these because of the cost of continually replacing adhesive ones.
I would say the velour side is best used for small items of clothing, I stupidly tried this on a cat blanket and the whole of the velour was covered very quickly. The velour side is obviously effective, but in my opinion is a bit fiddly removing all the fur off the velour once it is full of fur. I was picking it off and soon grew tired of it.
The knot remover served as nothing but a nuisance in my opinion, it isn't something I have a need to use. When using the velour side on clothing I found the knot remover kept getting caught on the material and it even managed to snag one of my more delicate tops.
The bristle brush is the best part of this clothes brush. It works great on winter woolen coats, it's a fast and effective way of removing unwanted hair, fluff or fur. I have even used this on the throws on my settee with great results.
Overall for the price, it was a good buy as I have found good use for the bristle side. I do not like the knot remover at all and that lets the product down.
I have gone back to using adhesive lint removers for my jumpers and tops as I don't want to risk snagging them.
