Product Description

In the rush hour for survival, it's everyone for themselves. During a night out with his girlfriend, E Z Tyler reluctantly subjects himself to a stage hypnotist, as far as he is aware for the first time. What should be an evening of light entertainment soon descends into a living nightmare, as a lost memory accidentally triggers a series of events linked with a sinister conspiracy. But can E Z discover the truth in time to save the world from itself? We follow our unlikely hero on a journey of discovery in a society that embraces 'rush hour rules', where people have abandoned their humanity in the name of self-preservation. Unknowingly, E Z holds the key to salvation, but is it all too late? The rules are changing and things will never be the same again.

I found this book highly imaginative, original and gripping throughout. I think it would make an excellent action-packed movie. No wonder this book was nominated for an award!

A real page-turner! 13 July 2009
Format:Paperback
I was given this book by a friend who recommended it to me and I was gripped from the first couple of paragraphs! I found it really hard to put down as each chapter leaves you wanting to know more. Huw definitely has a vivid imagination and although fictional, the story is real enough to be believable which for me, made it even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this book for anyone who likes 'action' stories as it's a real page-turner!

Very disappointing 27 Aug 2009
Format:Paperback
It is true, like others have said, that this book is a page turner leaving you wanting to know more. Despite that, I found the plot stretched and the character development weak. Events seemed to move at a fantastic pace, but without much depth. Calling a British character by an American nickname ("E Z") irritated me from the start.

I would not recommend this book, although as it is a first novel, there is enough promise shown to hope that subsequent novels will be better.
