5.0 out of 5 stars Loved it! 22 Aug 2014
By Mandy Aimes - Published on
The story starts with Claire, an aspiring Olympian, discovering that she's been left off the national team in favor of another girl whose father made a sizeable donation. She runs into her ex boyfriend, billionaire Oliver Reese, who decides he wants to do Claire one more time. He convinces her to have dinner with him, and he ends up promising to make a couple phone calls on her behalf. Oliver kind of seems like he'll be a total douchebag at the start, but I have a feeling there's a bit more to him than that, and I can't wait to find out for sure.

5.0 out of 5 stars Five stars! 23 Aug 2014

I can't rave enough about this book. Claire is so strong, such a powerful character, and Oliver seems like he might just have a bit more of a softer spot than he seems. I can't wait to see where the story goes, I'm definitely cheering for these two to end up with a happily ever after, and for Claire to get her revenge for getting screwed over and not being picked for the Olympics.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good 22 Aug 2014

This was a good book, not the best I've ever read, but definitely not the worst either. I liked the story, it was a bit more creative than a lot of what you see in the genre. Oliver isn't your typical billionaire either, being more of a trust fund baby, but he's a good character and I'll be interested to see how the author develops him.

5.0 out of 5 stars Belongs on the must-read list! 22 Aug 2014
By AlohaLady - Published on
I've never read anything by this author before, but I saw this one was free and thought "hey, why not?" I'm glad I made that call, this book was enticing, intriguing and written well enough to keep me hooked and wanting more. I'm definitely looking forward to part two.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great, but too short 22 Aug 2014

Nothing to complain about with regards to the story. It was well written and interesting, but just a little short. It feels like the author is just trying to get more people to buy the other parts of the books at this length.
