I just finished reading Running in Heels. The book is excellent after you just get into it. My first time reading a book by Helen Bailey. I really recommend it if you need some glamour into your normal school-life. It's a fun and easy read - for you who like to finish a book fast. For me, the book was exactly like watching a movie; the way it's described, makes it very easy to picture the different scenes.

Helen Bailey is the author of the popular Electra Brown series which I've been meaning to read for a long time as many people they are like the Joanna Nadin Rachel Riley series, the Rachel Riley series being some of my favourite books.
I saw Running In Heels in the new releases in my library and thought it would be a good quick read. It only took my a day or so to finish this, which isn't really surprising as I'm quite a quick reader.
It was quite a good quick read really. It tells the story of Daisy Davenport, a well-to-do fourteen year old girl whose life is suddenly turned upside down and sideways when her father is arrested for fraud and she is forced to give up her luxe house, school and general life. Daisy can get a bit annoying and she way of speaking ( using the word photy instead of photo and moby instead of mobile) can grate on your nerves and her sister is a tab annoying along with her old school 'friends' but apart from that the story is not bad, a good quick read for anyone who likes this type of YA fiction.
