I brought this book based on the number of good reviews it already had and I have not been disappointed. I have not finished reading it yet but so far the information has been easy to read, well explained and extremely useful. Some of the information is common sense and reinforces what I already thought which means I know I am on the right tracks! The rest is good information for anyone looking to run a gite or B&B in France and I would highly recommend it.

Bought this book hoping that it will help us to make our dream come true - opening a B&B in Languedoc Roussillon area, and it was very useful!
Though I haven't read it from cover to cover yet, I have underlined a lot to think about and to ask the house hunter that we'll meet in a couple of weeks.

Lots of information for getting started

So far I've only read half the book that's about running gites. The other half is about running B&B's. It has lots of information and stories from people who have done it already. It brings up many things that I hadn't thought about before. It's definitely a good place to START anyway if you're thinking about doing something like this.
