This is an excellent guide if you want to lose weight by running. You don't think that there's much to learn but it includes so many tips. I've tried running previously but just got puffed out and gave up. This book really helped me to progress and I've already lost 12lbs in just a few weeks. A very practical and motivating guide.
All the info in the book is ready available online. Also the book gives links to online material - what a cheek! The book is hardly so thick that the author could not fit this in, in fact it its a pretty small book. Wouldn't recommend.
I downloaded this e-book and it is by far one of the best running guides I've ever purchased. Not only is it full of great running tips, nutrition advice, but it's also full off easy to use training programmes suitable for all levels, so you don't feel discriminated against if you've never run before, like me.
I'm aiming to run the Race for Life 5k, so will be using to help me along the way.
Not many books live up to their cover story but I found this one to be just what I needed! It gives clear ideas on how to get started and most important of all how to keep motivated after the first few weeks. I even read a few pages while having a breather and then did double the distance I'd planned.
So many books prove to be a disappointment but I found this one to be perfect for what I need helping me to lose weight while getting some exercise.
