This is a great book to help get you motivated to start running, if you want to try and improve the health of both your mind and body. It goes into great detail about the benefits of running & how to find the best types of running shoes to match your foot and running style, as well as all the other essential items of clothing you might need.

The key part of this book though is the training plan towards the end, and this looks like a fool proof way of getting anyone who wants to run motivated and prepared to take on the challenge. The author clearly has a passion for running, and you can tell that he really believes in the beneficial effects that running for fitness can bring.

A great book - essential reading if you want to start running, but are uncertain of how to ease yourself into an effective routine. I can't wait to put it into practice!

A really good, basic book on running. Full of information on running shoes, clothes and basic techniques to help you to start running and build up to a 5k run, also online running/training plans available and are really useful.
