If your a fan of Tom Petty you'll want this book, its a companion to the film and its everything a fan could want.I don't believe its been published in the UK so you'll have to get the US version which is available here.It covers all of Tom's career with photos posters set lists and Toms comments throughout. Its really beautifully produced and is a coffee table type book but it will keep you browsing for ages.Underneath the dust jacket the hardcover of the book is embossed with Tom and the Heartbreakers logo,as I said the whole book is wonderfully put together and is among the best rock compilations I've ever seen.So if your a fan and haven't got it yet get going,if not the book is still a great read or if you don't want a straight read just browse and enjoy sharing the career of one of the most popular as well as longlasting rock legends of all time, and to Tom and the band, please come over to Europe again soon its been far too long,in the meantime thanks for a great book plus the CD/DVD set.

Excellent book. It's the companion piece of the like wise titled dvd boxset documentary. Tons of pictures both portraits and live shots and also lot's of memorablia (magazine covers, promos, etc.)
Also covers tom petty & the heartbreakers backing up Bob Dylan and Tom Petty as member of The Travelling Wilburys. Every long running rockband deserves a book like this !!! A must have for fans and at an excellent price.

Having purchased the 2DVD/1CD box set I did not know if the book advertised therein would provide any new material. How wrong was I!
This is a beautifully produced book which provides a deep insight into the Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers journey over their many decades together.
It contains revealing interviews, unseen photos and stacks of memorabilia.
A quality publication that any Tom Petty fan should own, but probably more so, a book which carefully and honestly describes the road that many musicians embark upon but sadly never reach that pot of gold ,however, in Tom's case he did.
If you have the above mentioned set then go out and buy the book because as we say in Australia, "Mate, its bloody good!"
