Product Description

MAZE RUNNER: THE KILL ORDER When sun flares hit the Earth, intense heat, toxic radiation and flooding followed, wiping out much of the human race. Those who survived live in basic communities in the mountains, hunting for food. For Mark and his friends, surviving is difficult, and then an enemy arrives, infecting people with a highly contagious virus. Thousands die, and the virus is spreading. Worse, it's mutating, and people are going crazy. It's up to Mark to find the enemy and a cure before the Flare infects them all. THE MAZE RUNNER When the doors of the lift crank open, the only thing Thomas remembers is his first name. But he's not alone. He's surrounded by boys who welcome him to the Glade - a walled encampment at the centre of a bizarre and terrible stone maze. Like Thomas, the Gladers don't know why or how they came to be there - or what's happened to the world outside. All they know is that every morning when the walls slide back, they will risk everything - even the Grievers, half-machine, half-animal horror that patrol its corridors, to try and find out. THE MAZE RUNNER: SCORCH TRIALS Thomas was sure that escape from the maze meant he and the Gladers would get their lives back. But no one knew what sort of life they were going back to. The earth is a wasteland. Government and order have disintegrated and now Cranks, people driven to murderous insanity by the infectious disease known as the Flare, roam the crumbling cities hunting for their next victim and meal. Thomas can only wonder - does he hold the secret of freedom somewhere in his mind? Or will he forever be at the mercy of WICKED? MAZE RUNNER: THE DEATH CURE The Trials are over. WICKED have collected all the information they can. Now it's up to the Gladers to complete the blueprint for the cure to the Flare with a final voluntary test. But something has happened that no-one at WICKED has foreseen. The time for lies is over. But the truth is more dangerous than anyone could have imagined.

absolutely amazing series! fell in love with the story line almost instantly!
pre warning though, after reading the first book (maze runner) you will be confused about whats going on as you're left on a serious cliff hanger but it picks straight up in the second book (scorch trials) but this again leaves a lot of questions unanswered..
throughout the series there are many questions left running through your head but they are all answered once you've read all of them, trust me its worth it!
just make sure you read them in the following order:

maze runner, scorch trials, death cure, kill order (prequel but please read it last as most of it won't make sense until you've read the others!)

If you look at the print length listed in product information, it says that it is only 96 pages long, don't worry however as this is just a mistake and I can say that it is in fact longer than 96 pages. Which is lucky, else it would be considerably shorter than all of the books separately let alone combined. Hope this helps. Can't wait to start reading...

I have wanted these books for absolutely ages but was put off by the retail prices as I wanted to read all four books , and it would result in a big dent in my pocket if I bought all four of them. It came as a massive surprise to me to see the amazing value of these books sold by the buyer, and I am amazed at how this could possibly work!

The books came in brand new, perfect condition within a few days of placing my order, and it really makes me wonder, just how the seller is able to offer this fantastic books set at around £10(incl delivery) bearing in mind that the books are brand new and were probably sent by first class!

This is an amazing deal and I can't wait to read the books now!

My son is an avid reader but for him to get through the first 3 books in a week just shows that he really like this series. For cross reference he also loves skullduggery pleasant, the cherub series and Percy Jackson. These books are clearly of the same quality (mums, if you've not read skullduggery I recommend to; they're hilarious) as these others so they're a great choice for a teenage present.

Similar to the Hunger Games but keeps you on the edge ALL the time. Looking forward to the film but also a little frightened too!!
Have to admit I didn't like the fourth book as much, but puts things into perspective.

Having watched the movie of the first book before reading it, I was so disappointed that it was touch and go whether or not I would buy the book at all! However, the film's confusing conclusion left so many questions unanswered that I did go ahead and buy the Kindle collection of all 4 of the 'Maze Runner' books ... and I'm so very glad I did! The story line starts with the main character, Thomas, being unceremoniously dumped into a maze which is already populated by around 50 other boys. The characters cannot remember anything from their past prior to the maze and are struggling to survive on a day to day basis. Their objective is to escape the maze and they have been trying to do this without success for 2 years. Of course, when Thomas arrives, things begin to go wrong and this creates some conflict between the boys. As the story develops across books 1-4, it becomes clear where these boys came from, who is driving them and for what purpose, but I should warn you that it's only really when you get to the end of book 4 that everything is absolutely crystal clear. Initially, I was concerned that book 4 centred around completely different characters to the ones I had followed in books 1-3. Don't be put off by this though - it's a real page turner, (as all of the books are!) and I was actually really sad to finish reading them.
