5.0 out of 5 stars Rumpole of the Bailey Series 4 28 Feb 2009
Format:DVD|Verified Purchase
Series One was well cast with a variety of regular characters and cameo roles for the leading characters in the quirky story lines. Some of the main characters have changed as the series progress but in all cases the quality of the characters and originality of the story lines has remained or improved. Series 4 was excellent, the only concern being that Series 5 does not appear to be readily available at this time (February 2009).

5.0 out of 5 stars Vintage Rumpole 1 May 2009
By Yorkie
Format:DVD
For me the middle series of Rumpole (Series 3 & 4) are arguably the best. A little less rough around the edges and dated that initial series and less formulaic than the final series. Rumpole is as full of character as ever and giving the judges what for. A great pleasure to watch.
