Reviews

The entire seventh series of the popular television show. In 'Rumpole and the Children of the Devil' eight-year-old Tracy Timpson is accused of devil worship and it is left to Rumpole (Leo McKern) to prove her innocence. In 'Rumpole and the Miscarriage of Justice' Judge Featherstone is accused of sending an innocent man to jail for murder - Rumpole must decide if a miscarriage of justice has occurred. 'Rumpole and the Eternal Triangle' finds Rumpole having to defend Desmond, the husband of Elizabeth who has been making amorous advances towards Rumpole, against a murder charge. Rumpole must again attempt to get his client off against the odds in 'Rumpole and the Reform of Joby Jonson', when there is a burglary at Rumpole's flat. In 'Rumpole and the Family Pride' Rumpole and Hilda are invited to Hilda's wealthy cousin's and are left wondering if there is a separate agenda. Finally, in 'Rumpole on Trial' Rumpole is behaving in a very aggresive manner when trying to defend a manslaughter case.
