Product Description

More inspiring poems by one of the greatest Persian mystics and poets, here translated for the first time into English. Devoted to the gardens of the soul, the spirit and the heart, this new collection captures the spirit and essence of Rumi’s timeless message.

• Jelaluddin Rumi was born in what is now Afghanistan in 1207. His poetry has inspired generations of spiritual seekers, both from his own Sufi school and well beyond.
• His message of love speaks directly to the heart and transcends the limitations of language and the boundaries of time.
• The poems in this book are divided into 3 sections, with 50 poems devoted to each of the gardens of the soul, the spirit and the heart. All are stages of the Sufi development.
• There are poems from the Divan, Rubaiyat and the Masnavi, with many presented in beautiful Persian calligraphy to enchant and inspire.

About the Author

Maryam Mafi, born and raised in Iran, is an experienced Persian translator who studied in the US and has translated a variety of scholarly and poetic works since 1989.

Azima Melita Kolin is a poet, concert pianist and artist, who studied in Rome and Geneva. Coming from different backgrounds of language, music and art, they have stretched the boundaries of their collaboration from Iran to Bulgaria, from America to eastern and western Europe. Their meeting place is the love they both share for Rumi.
