From Amazon.co.uk

No one brings more death-defying entertainment to the screen than fearless martial arts superstar Jackie Chan (Rush Hour 2). In this awe-inspiring and highly amusing action-thriller, Chan outdoes himself with the most eye-popping stunts ever filmed, each more amazing than the last. Chan plays Keong, a Hong Kong cop who gets more than he bargained for when he visits relatives in a crime-ridden section of New York. Soon Keong is brawling with Mafia kingpins and unleashing his lethal skills on unsuspecting thugs. From the first astonishing action sequence to the last, in which Chan is matched against a giant hovercraft in a deadly show of brute strength.

Product Description

Hong Kong cop Keung (Jackie Chan), assisting his grandfather in the sale of his flat, sticks around to help the new tenant when he realizes she is being intimidated by a local gang. The gang, led by Mafia boss White Tiger, are involved in the theft of some drugs, which results in violent retribution.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great hong kong flick 7 Sep 2012

Must of you must have seen this movie by now. Jackie Chan's character (Keung) travels to New York to visit his uncle. It doesn't take long until Keung gets in trouble. While Jackie Chan deals with the trouble makers you'll for example see some great martial arts scenes and witness a Lamborghini getting it's wings cut off.

The picture is overly bright. The details are good but some few shots are partially blurry (mostly the background). Overall the picture quality is mediocre for a bluray release, the transfer could be better, but it's still in HD and worth an upgrade for every fans of the movie.

There's no extra material and the english dub is the only option.

4.0 out of 5 stars Easily Jackie Chan at his best! 8 Jun 2012

Easily Jackie Chan at his best!

From all the physical stunts, to the comedy, silly plot and of course, the mind-blowing Kung Fu, this movie is a MUST have for any fan of Martial Arts movies!

Jackie Chan broke the mold of serious Martial Arts movies and paved the way for many to incorporate comedy with action and his now famous "doing his own stunts" work.

This movie introduced Jackie Chan to a whole generation and made him a household name. While very silly at times, this movie works and is very light-hearted and fun to watch. Even watching the closing credits with all the out-takes was one of the highlights since you get to see Jackie do all his stunts...even breaking his foot in one stunt, and coming back smiling with a sock (painted to look like his sneakers) that covered the cast on his foot.

Over-all, a great movie and highly recommended.
