Yet again another fantastic set of tiles. Blend seamlessly with both my city and wilderness sets. In fact add more river tiles to the wilderness set. Tend to use generic sets that are not to theme specific, which can be used for a variety of settings and periods. I use mainly for wargaming both medieval and fantasy. Would recommend these straight away.

Great tile set for a battleground 22 Nov 2012

This is a really exciting tile set. The name pretty much gives it away; the tile set has many tiles related to war. It's one of the more interesting sets that have come out recently.

Here's a brief rundown of what's included:

2x2, 4x4, 8x8 crater from some powerful blast
2x4 (4), 8x8 mound
1x2, 2x2,4x4, 2x4 tiles containing carnage
2x8 tile containing trees
2x4 (2), 4x8 tiles for a small river
2x8, 4x4 pieces of a ruined building
there's a whole sheet for arranging a fort
another whole sheet for arranging trenches
2x2 ballista and a ruined version of it on the opposite side
4x4 trebuchet and a ruined version of it on the opposite side
4x4 battering ram and ruined version of it on the opposite side
2x8 tile with 3 small war tents
8x8 tile with a large war tent
2x2 tile with a fire pit and on the opposite side is the pit extinguished

The sample dungeon requires only on set. If you have the previous wilderness sets, this set will blend in well with tiles from those.

I'm super excited for incorporating this set into our game.

For the price, a very good, useful tile set 5 April 2013

Great set of tiles for the budget conscious DM.

The tiles are beautifully colored and done in heavy cardboard using water fast inks. (Yes, I know, because one o my players accidentally performed the spilled soda test on them!)

I use these extensively with my other tile sets for both prepared and ad hoc encounters.

They show a location with some prior battle damage, and that makes them very useful for any kind of contested frontier setting.

You cannot o wrong for the price.

In service,

Rich

Some repeat tiles, but a good set to have. 4 Mar 2013

Like most sets a lot of the tiles for this are very situational, but they are good. The artwork is nice, there are repeat tiles from other sets, but overall it's a decent product. Just make sure you actually require this type of set before you buy.

Great new set of tiles. Broken seige weapins and piles of bodies are a great addition to any tile set.
