5.0 out of 5 stars Genius 19 Dec 2011
Don't make the mistake of prejudging this based on Rufus Hound's Cheryl Cole dance routine or kids' TV series. If you're expecting the cheeky chappy from Celebrity Juice prepare to have your mind blown. This is more than just a stand-up routine, Rufus manages to be hilarious, brutally honest and inspiring, taking you on a roller-coaster journey that will make you re-evaluate your world view. It reminded me of the feeling I got the first time I saw Bill Hicks, where thought provoking comedy meets politics and common sense. Some of the more subtle self introspection moments are Stewart Lee like, albeit far less obscure and with more belly laughs.
The DVD includes an MP4 video that you can copy to your computer or iPod (other music players are available). For the Juice fans, the DVD extras include a commentary from Keith Lemon and Fearne Cotton.
Of course, there is a place for prime-time crowd pleasing comedy but this is what real stand-up comedy should be like.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exceptionally funny 10 Dec 2012
By S. Lamb
The funniest DVD of last year's crop. This is absolutely, constantly laugh-out-loud funny.

Rufus Hound has mastered appearing laddish while sneaking a very real, very considered, very funny agenda into the room like a ninja. A wonderful mixture of apparent low-brow and extreme cleverness. Loved it :)
