Most Helpful Customer Reviews

7 of 7 people found the following review helpful By Joanne on 31 Dec. 2007
The whole product is a book of eight folding patterns with a pack of paper enclosed. This is NOT origami paper, for anyone who has done it before, just shiny red paper. The instructions show what the models are supposed to look like using a different colour for side of the paper. This is, unfortunately, impossible to see on the actual models you are building, as the paper is all one colour (rendering it even more difficult to see what you're supposed to be doing).

In all but two of the designs, the instructions are clear up to a point, then there is one step that makes absolutely no sense, and after that it's hideously difficult to complete because you're trying to figure out what on earth you were supposed to be doing.

Maybe I'm the odd one, and I just can't understand easy instructions. On the other hand, maybe you'd be better off with a different set of origami.

As a side note - why is this listed in children's crafts?

I hardly think this book should be in the CHILDREN'S craft section
