The Royal Treatment is a whole lotta' girlie princess fun! I am an especially girlie girl and princess books are very special to me. They are the perfect outlet for my glittery pink and royally magical day dreams.
In Princess for Hire, Desi first learned how to use her magical powers to stand in for real princesses. Now, she is expanding her skills at the Façade Agency and getting into even crazier situations and subbing for more challenging princesses and celebrities. It was great to read and laugh about all of Desi's training at the magical Façade Agency.
Roller skating on a boat! Now that's something I wasn't really expecting Desi to have to learn, but she does. This gives you an idea of the funny little surprises you'll find in The Royal Treatment!
Working for Façade is not all Desi has going on. She is also starring in her high school play, A Midsummer Night's Dream, along with her crush, Reed. He has a secret of his own to share. I liked getting a glimpse into Desi's everyday life and how nervous she got about the kissing scene. Lindsey Leavitt works the magical and the everyday together just right.
What girl doesn't want to live the life of a princess, even if it is only as a sub? I know I would jump at the chance. I can't wait for book three and more super sub adventures for Desi.
Royal, glittery, girlie, diamonds, pearls, and a splash of pink. And it's all wrapped up in a beautiful teal background. Love it!
