I bought these recently at the reduced price simply because I've been really into online make-up tutorials recently and wanted to have the equipment to do some of those looks myself. When I saw the price these had been lowered to I was very impressed and thought I'd give them a go.
So far (after one use) I'm very pleased. I'm still getting to grips with the set, but I've already managed to create a look that would've been impossible with my old sponge applicators. The brushes are lovely and soft, and work well with my existing make-up (mousse foundation, liquid concealer, Urban Decay eyeshadows). The length of the handles is very handy and they have little labels telling you the individual purposes. I like that the concealer and foundation brushes have flesh-tone bristles which make them much easier to identify when in a hurry. The brow and eyelash combs are a bit harsh, so I'd urge caution when using them, though to be honest, I doubt they'll have much of a place in my routine.
The case itself is fairly well made. It feels a tad cheap, but as long as the brushes feel expensive I don't mind that. In the end, the case will probably end up stained with the bright eyeshadows I use anyway, so I'm not too fussed. I do like that it has a hook, so I could hang it up if I so chose, and I also like that it zips closed, as it means I could travel easily with the case.
These are great, so anyone dithering, buy them now while they're at their low price.
