Having searched high and low for a product which read video from a personally recorded dvd (in this case a dvd ram disc) and converted it to avi or something else, I eventually settled on this product. Unfortunately it doesn't do what it says on the tin. It recognises and plays the video on the dvd (which several others do not; hence the two stars) but when I "convert" it, the software goes through a short process saying it is converting and produces a file of nul-size. Tried all the possible "conversions" but none produce a usable file. So I must resume my search.

This is a terrible product. It is full of bugs, and rarely does what you want it to do. The You-tube capture facility almost never works. It often freezes when you are in the middle of converting a file. When you clip a file, it ignores the changes you made. Don't waste your money on this poor piece of software.

Roxio Copy Program
An excellent program for copying DVD's or CD's. Since it arrived I have used no other program for copying for data or music.

AVOID!
Complete rubbish.
On one PC I get the blue screen of death whenever it tries to create an .mpg4 file of a DVD, and on another PC it won't even run! Read more
