Integration
Rather than being a digital media suite comprised of independent applications, Creator is an integrated suite where all components look and behave similarly and interact seamlessly.

Capture
Creator's Capture component delivers a consistent workflow regardless of the media type being captured or the digital device being used.

Multi-Tasking
Unlike many applications, Creator enables you to launch components and complete additional tasks while a burn project is processing. For example, you can create and print a disc label and cover for an Audio CD, while the CD is being burned.

Common Editing Tasks
The most commonly used editing tasks are readily available when needed. For example, while creating a slide show, you are able to edit photos (i.e. crop, rotate, resize, and remove red eye), without leaving the component.

Home
Home enables you to view, in a logical fashion, the many photo, video, music, and burning tasks and applications available. From Home you can choose to enter a product component, launch a task, open a recent project, or review a tutorial.

Media Manager
Creator offers a single utility to manage, view, and find all photos, video clips, and projects.

Data and File Sharing
Creator enables you to quickly move files between components (e.g., pre-select photos in Media Manager and launch into PhotoSuite's multi-photo enhance). In addition, the application intelligently moves file data between tasks when appropriate (e.g., If you enter Label Creator while burning a music CD, the disc label will be dynamically populated with track list, song title, and artist name).

Innovation
While a great deal of time and effort went into seamlessly integrating Roxio's media software, we also greatly enhanced the feature set of every component to a point where each could be a highly competitive stand-alone application. Here are some of the innovative new enhancements in Creator 7.

SmartScan
Most applications would force you to capture the entire contents of your video camera or manually fast forward and rewind through the content to find and copy scenes of interest. Creator's innovative SmartScan feature saves you time by quickly scanning the content and displaying thumbnail previews of all the scenes on your camera without actually copying the content to your hard disk. This allows you to selectively decide what content you'd like to copy.

Plug & BurnIf you don't wish to perform edits on the video captured to your digital video camcorder, Plug & Burn enables you to go directly to DVD in just two clicks of the mouse!

Edit DVD discEdit DVD disc enables you to add titles to previously created DVDs. Use this feature to create compilation DVDs of your favorite TV shows recorded to a DVD Recorder, or to add titles to personal DVDs (i.e. DVDs you've created consisting of personal photos and videos).

StoryBoard
Use StoryBoard to combine your favorite photos, video files, and songs to create an engaging slide show. Give your slide show a professional touch with titles, transitions, narration track, special effects, and even turn a still photo into a mini movie with the Motion Picture feature.

Timeline Video Editing
Use the editing tools of the professional with VideoWave's timeline. Have fine tune control over the timing of assets in your production including audio, titles, video files, and special effects.

DVD-Video Copy
Disc Copier provides you with a transparent way to make high quality copies of non-CSS protected DVD Video. Disc Copier clearly displays the video and audio content on the DVD so you can remove unnecessary content and subsequently increase the quality of the movie.

Scheduled BackupDon't let computer viruses or system crashes cause you to lose important files on your system. Use Creator Classics' backup feature to schedule regular backups of the data on your system. In addition, add an extra level of security to the resulting disc with the new encryption feature.
