Roxie Howard lobbied for transgender rights with The National Transgender Advocacy Coalition (NTAC) in 2004. Roxie is one of forty (40) authors of the second edition of "Trans Forming Families, Real Stories About Transgendered Loved Ones." Roxie's was born in Germany and spent four years of her childhood living on the horn of Africa. "The Brain God Gave Me," is based upon her life, and was written while she was taking care of her husband who had cancer. Her LGBT-friendly book is a love story, a life story, a family adventure and a unique, one-of-a-kind transition story.
