Modern and reasoned 3 Feb 2006
By GilesG
Format:Paperback
This book brings together an excellent range of highly respected rowing authorities and a cohesive and well presented format. The structure and detail are well thought out and the ideas presented are provided with a good scientific explaination, so you know why various recommendations are made. There is a bit more science than I currently want to get into in one chapter but I imagine that I'll be drawn to it later and it's nice that it's isolated there.

A terrific book for improving club athletes and beyond.

Rowing Faster 4 Feb 2010
Format:Paperback
A good book on general rowing theory, ideal for people willing to improve their rowing from a sound theorical background. The chapter on rigging is less detailed than I expected.
