I have used Rowenta Irons for quite a few years,(bearing in mind they last forever when used correctly) they are a must for family life laundry.I can,t remember when i purchased my last iron, however looking at the latest model in a town shop recently i thought i,d treat myself to a new one, hence purchasing this model:DW8010G0.. Couldn,t wait to get cracking on my pile of ironing, sailed through it.

I've had a Rowenta iron for the past 10 years and have had no problems with it. I decided to upgrade to the latest version as steam output and design have been improved since then.
It is a very good iron, not too heavy or light and looks good. Plus, the price on Amazon is better than that of high street stores (This model doesn't seem to be common though)
It loses a star due to Amazon supplying the Iron with a 2 pin plug. I had to cut it off and wire a UK 13 amp plug to it.

This iron works really well. You definitely need the 'mesh' ironing board that the product information recommends. This information did not feature in the purchase details. Luckily I already have a 'perforated' metal ironing board; so the amount of steam produced by this iron dissipates quite well.
