Founded in Germany in 1884, the brand satisfies consumers seeking high-performance, attractive products that offer ease of use for everyday well-being. This stylish iron will help you save time and obtain ideal results at home.

Powerful Steam Delivery Thanks To Rowenta’s Expertise
  • The Focus has a steady steam output with 40 g/min variable steam and a 160 g/min shot of steam for the most stubborn of creases, especially on dry and thick fabrics. The vertical steam enables you to remove the creases from delicate fabrics in seconds without taking it off the hanger.
  • It also features Autosteam control, which regulates the steam output according to the fabric: simply choose a setting and iron away, safe in the knowledge that the Eco Focus knows the optimum temperature and steam combination for both delicate linens and hardy denims, ensuring you get ideal results every time.

Premium Build Soleplates

All Rowenta’s soleplates use high quality stainless steel and have been treated with lasers to compress and harden the surface, making it higly resistant to scratches and therefore insuring a long-lasting glideability.

The Microsteam 400 provides exceptional steam distribution and hence a maximised ironing efficiency thanks to the 400 micro-size holes in this patented soleplate. The round edged soleplate design has been created to ensure an optimum glide in lateral and forward movement.

I have had to buy two new irons recently to replace PHILIPS AZUR irons due to one no longer steaming well after 10 years and the other one was damaged after falling from an unstable ironing board.
SO i bought another PHILIPS AZUR iron at a discount price of £45 and this ROWENTA IRON.
i have had products from this maker before and these have always been very good quality, however this iron is okay but it falls behind the PHILIPS on quite a few levels especially considering the current £30 or so discount for the PHILIPS.
The really good thing about this iron is the solid build quality without being too heavy and the fact that the cord is long enough unlike some other irons by this maker.
However the disappointing thing with this iron is that performance does not match build quality.Water capacity seems good but in practice it seems to require refilling far too often and drips far too much water on steam setting.Although the ironing performance is adequate it never seems capable of matching the performance of the PHILIPS.
Another surprising omission is it does not have auto power cut-off especially when you see the great importance AEG for instance have made of this safety feature. One would have thought that there would be no question of this feature being standard at this price level.
I will be keeping this iron as it not bad enough to return but i think that it is only an average product and as such it is disappointing

This is our third Rowenta steam iron, our previous Rowenta iron has had many years service and is still usable although the sole plate is slightly stained, but this probably due to living in a hard water area! Recently we had a brief encounter with another German manufacturer of steam irons, but the so-called ceramic sole plate was an absolute disaster. Not surprisingly it was actually made in the PRC, enough said! Therefore we quickly came to our senses, returned it and bought this model instead. This is definitely made in Germany and the stainless steel plate is a dream in comparison to the ceramic one with loads more tiny holes than our previous Rowenta for the steam to disperse. It weighs 1.4kg which is a little heavier than what we have at the moment, but frankly we haven't found this to be a problem and is far lighter than some other irons on the market. It also comes with a decent length power lead and the hand grip feels fairly comfortable to use and the controls are all well placed. Filling and emptying the water chamber is certainly a lot easier than our previous model. The overall size is slightly bigger, but it just gets the job done in the shortest possible time, enough said. I just hope we get the same length of service from it than the last.

Received very quickly, but the iron is quite heavy and despite this the water tank does not seem to hold half as much water as my old iron. It needs constant refilling. It also leaks water frequently, which I wouldn't expect from an iron at this price point. Other than that it works fine. Keeping it for now, but definitely had better irons in the past and would not purchase it again.

I'm happy with this iron, it works well. Reliable. Delivery was great.
The design/shape is a bit funny to me, but I don't care too much as it does its job perfectly well. Thanks.

Super iron, loads of steam, takes me half as long to do my ironing after my last iron which was also a rowenta but very heavy. This is a light iron and well worth the money I paid for it. Delivered the following day too!!

This is the best iron that I have used. It is just the right weight & the steam amount is perfect. I have had a couple of steam irons in the past year which were truly dreadful. One had so many superfluous that weren`t required & was very unstable & the other one which was a `WHICH` best buy lasted all of seven weeks before it packed up & got through water at a prodigious rate, it was unbelievable.
I find that this Rowenta is a simple no nonsense iron which has simple controls, steams using a sensible amount of water, has a long cord, no gimmicky features, you can see the water level in the tank unlike the majority of irons now which are a kind of fashion statement with wonderful non transparent water tanks & it does what an iron is supposed to do superbly, that is iron clothes, sheets etc. Very highly recommended.
