5.0 out of 5 stars steam routes around cheltenham 24 May 2009
An area of railway activity, overlooked by many, which doesn't feature in very many of the popular railway journals.
Stephen Mourton, a local author has complied an interesting and extensive record of the area. First few pages cover a historical review of the building and train operations. There follows 80 pages of archive and steam era photographs, portraying the Cheltenham which I remember as a "teenage trainspotter" on the "double bank", overlooking both Lansdown station and the run into Malvern Road.
An excellent book for the enthusiast with an interest in the the area.
