The compressed file format of our digital Ordnance Survey maps gives you the opportunity to store a whole selection of maps on your iPhone and access them during outdoor pursuits. Recorded data, such as waypoints and tracks, can be transferred via WiFi from your iPhone to Mac or PC or imported onto the iPhone as features allow.
Apple Mac computer:
For desktop use Mac users can also load the same maps into RouteBuddy for Mac OS X. This is a powerful desktop application which allows you to create waypoints tracks and routes, manage geodata and connect compatible GPS devices for the transfer of your saved data between your computer and the device and vice versa depending on the capability of the device. A suitable GPS receiver can also be used with a Mac laptop for live tracking.
