This excellent movie depicts the true story of the Americans fighting the Spanish in Cuba.It is historically accurate and plays like a early Band Of Brothers.The cast is superb especially Tom Berengers portrayal of Theodore Roosevelt and Gary Buseys portrayal of Fighting Joe otherwise known as Major General Joe Wheeler.The movie will have you spellbound and is full of action,superb battle scenes and the general commeradity between the men from highest rank down to the private soldier.all in all a fantastic movie to own and the performances from the actors just makes it all the more special.I highly reccomend this superb movie for your collection.

I was impressed with the accurate depiction of San Juan Hill wich was very good. May be not the german "instructors" because this was apparantly not according to the fact of the battle.
I am a tickler for weapons,(in this case howitzer, machineguns, and the clothing, is perfect)and the general visual performance
of the actors, Tom Berenger for instance is perfect as TR with mimics and voice.
