5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect guide 20 Nov 2011
Used this to find a hotel, places to eat, and to guide our touring. It was awesome and I had an amazing time in Vienna. Pretty much spot on, and helped us find a restaurant that my boyfriend and I still talk about!

Really pleased with this purchase. No damage at all and apart from library code on spine wouldn't know it was ex-library book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worked in 2008 and using it again 3 April 2012
By LD - Published on Amazon.com
I compared this guide with others on my first trip to Vienna in 2008. It helped with metro and tram stops at Schonbrunn Palace and within the Old Town. The maps of the metro lines and the street map that follows were great guides. Some off the "beaten path" locations were not in other guides. One fabulous church was the Dominikanerkirche. It was an intimate baroque church that was beautiful. The detailed description of the interior layouts of buildings that people like to tour helped me know where to spend my time and money. I am using this guide again to see places I did not have time for before.
5.0 out of 5 stars Just got back from Vienna 13 April 2011
By Devin E. Prouty - Published on Amazon.com
Just used this book for a 10 day trip to Vienna, it was great. Excellent information, history, context, maps everything. We loved using this book and I was even reading in on the plane ride home. This book combined with a good stand alone map will cover you for all your needs. We used the "Streetwise Vienna" laminated map.
