Excellent Comprehensive Guide 20 Aug 2011

I brought this book before my first visit to Singapore and as I am travelling alone and wanted to be sure about the airport, water (yes you can drink it from the tap), electricity, transport, etc, before travelling.

It clearly breaks down the various sections of the city: China Town, Colonial, Little India, Orchard Road, etc. Therefore it is easy to work out what is of interest nearby to your hotel. This is particularly helpful if you are on your own and never been in the city. It also highlights all the not to be missed bits Botanic Gardens, Singapore Skyline, the River, the shopping, the list goes on.

One of the best and clearest guide books I have brought in a long time and would recommend it to anyone!

Does what it says. I think a previous reviewer stated it did not mention the various boat trips in Singapore but it DOES at page 28 under Organized trips and Tours. These look to be the best deal in Singapore and I will look forward to taking a couple in March 2011. May report back further then.
